Milan set to receive communication from Fiorentina on Adli’s permanent transfer

Start

Fiorentina are preparing to exercise their option to purchase Yacine Adli from AC Milan on a permanent basis. The Italian club are expected to communicate their decision to Milan in the coming days, signalling their intent to retain the midfielder beyond his current loan spell.

Last summer, Milan loaned out nine players, with Adli being one of the three who have exceeded expectations at their temporary clubs. The 24-year-old French midfielder has found his form at Fiorentina, becoming a key player under manager Raffaele Palladino

Adli’s performances have been impressive, with one goal in Serie A (ironically against Milan), another in the Conference League, and three crucial assists. He has featured in all 10 of Fiorentina’s league matches so far, demonstrating his importance to the team.

The player himself has spoken about the difference in his situation, highlighting the confidence he feels at Fiorentina compared to his time at Milan. He emphasized the importance of having a coach who specifically wanted him and a club that shared the same vision for his role.

Fiorentina initially paid around 2.5 million euros for the loan and are now prepared to activate the purchase option for an additional 10.5 million euros. The total deal would thus amount to approximately 13 million euros.

Furthermore, Fiorentina are ready to offer Adli a four-year contract, cementing their long-term plans for the player. This move represents a significant step in Adli’s career and validates Fiorentina’s faith in his abilities.

For Milan, this transfer could contribute to a potential windfall of nearly 60 million euros from player sales, which could be reinvested in the squad during the next summer transfer window.

The official announcement is expected in the near future, as Adli’s future looks increasingly tied to the violet colors of Fiorentina.
