Milan’s Spanish striker Alvaro Morata has encountered a new setback that will prevent him from traveling with the team for their upcoming match against Cagliari. The incident occurred during a training session when Morata was involved in an aerial collision with teammate Strahinja Pavlovic.

Following the collision, Morata was immediately transported to the hospital in Legnano for medical evaluation. He underwent an MRI scan, which fortunately yielded negative results, indicating no severe structural damage. However, the player will remain under close observation in the coming hours due to the nature of the injury.

The diagnosis reveals that Morata has suffered a severe head trauma, a condition that requires careful monitoring and precludes his participation in the upcoming fixture. This injury adds to the growing list of physical problems plaguing Milan’s attacking lineup, further complicating coach  Paulo Fonseca’s selection choices for the Cagliari match.
