AC Milan are on the verge of finalizing the transfer of Emerson Royal from Tottenham Hotspur, with the deal nearing completion. The Italian club are working through the final formalities with Tottenham to secure the Brazilian right-back’s services.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the transfer is expected to be valued at €15 million, plus additional bonuses. Emerson Royal is currently awaiting the green light to travel and undergo medical examinations, which will pave the way for his official signing with Milan.
The addition of Emerson Royal is intended to fill the gap on the right flank left by Alessandro Florenzi’s injury during the team’s tour. Last season, Emerson Royal made 24 appearances for Tottenham across all competitions, contributing one goal.
