Napoli keen on Monaco’s Vanderson

Having announced Antonio Conte as their new head coach, Napoli are now turning their attentions to the transfer window.

Sky Sport Italia outline how, after a season that fell short of expectations, Napoli are actively looking to strengthen their squad. One key position in need of reinforcement is the right wing-back in Conte’s 3-4-3 formation.

Conte is seeking a technically skilled player capable of moving inside the field, and at the top of his list is Brazilian talent Vanderson from Monaco.

Born in 2001, Vanderson has caught the attention of Napoli with his impressive performances. However, there are two main challenges in securing his transfer: his transfer fee, which is around €30 million , and his high salary.

Despite these obstacles, Napoli’s interest in the player remains strong. This season, Vanderson has made 23 appearances, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.
