The midfielder’s medical examinations are scheduled for Tuesday at Villa Stuart in Rome. This move comes as part of Napoli’s efforts to strengthen their squad ahead of the Serie A season, which kicks off next weekend.
Goal Italia report how Antonio Conte, Napoli’s coach, had urged the club to accelerate their transfer activities, particularly in midfield. Brescianini is seen as a strategic addition to bolster the team’s central options, complementing players like Lobotka, Anguissa, and Folorunsho. While Lobotka and Anguissa are expected to start the season as first-choice midfielders, Brescianini’s performance could influence Conte’s selection decisions.
