Napoli have reportedly shifted their focus away from Antonio Conte, who has been heavily linked with a move to the club in recent weeks. The former Juventus and Inter coach was viewed as one of the favourites to replace Francesco Calzona when the season ends, but reports from Italy now suggest otherwise.
Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, known for their close ties to the Partenopei, report that the club has cooled their interest in pursuing the Italian manager.
Instead, Napoli are now exploring other options in their quest to appoint a new manager, with plans to make an official announcement after the conclusion of the season. The decision is said to be influenced by the desire to show respect for Francesco Calzona, who currently serves as the interim boss.
Among the names reportedly under consideration are Stefano Pioli and Gian Piero Gasperini. Pioli, the current manager of Milan, is rumored to be a potential target for Napoli once his tenure at the Rossoneri comes to an end.
