His agent Jorge Mendes has offered him to a number of potential clubs but the 37-year-old has been refused by a number of Europe’s elite clubs.
The current rumours link CR7 with both Ligue 1 side Marseille and a potential return to Sporting, where his career got underway.
Italian journalist Francesco Modugno, via Twitter account Napoli Report, writes that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is doing his evaluations on Mendes’ idea for Ronaldo.
It would need to fit together and create several conditions: Manchester United would have to offer at least €100m for Victor Osimhen and contribute substantially to the salary of Ronaldo.
