Napoli targeting Broja and Kepa

Start

Napoli are planning an audacious move for in-demand Chelsea striker Armando Broja while Kepa Arrizabalaga is also of interest. The two clubs have just finalised a move for Kalidou Koulibaly and are reportedly in talks over other prospective deal.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has personally been following Broja after discussions with former coach Edy Reja, who currently manages the Albanian national team. Reja reportedly advised De Laurentiis to keep an eye on the young striker who is being linked with a number of Premier League clubs.

Napoli reportedly identified the 20-year-old as an alternative attacking option, should the receive an ‘indecent’ offer for Victor Osimhen this summer, however De Laurentiis is now interested in Broja regardless and has made an offer in the region of €25m.

Alongside Broja, the Partenopei are interested in Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga who the Blues are looking to sell. Gazzetta report that the club would prefer to sell Kepa outside of the Premier League but his salary would be too high for Napoli, which may lead them to offer to take him on a season-long loan to begin with.
