Napoli want Pjanic on loan

Napoli are interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic on loan in the summer. The 32-year-old joined the Blaugrana from Juventus in 2020 but has struggled to secure a place in the team. He’s spent the last season on loan at Turkish side Besiktas but is expected to return to Spain in the summer.

Spanish publication Sport report that the Bosnian doesn’t feature in coach Xavi’s plans for the next season and will be allowed to leave. Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti is interested in Pjanic for the midfield following their return to the Champions League,

Pjanic previously spent four seasons in Turin with Juve, winning 4 Serie A titles, making 178 appearances while scoring 22 goals.
