Milan are expected to contact Bundesliga side Stuttgart once again in their bid to sign striker Serhou Guirassy. The Rossoneri have been hit with a number of injuries this season and have been dependent on 37-year-old forward Olivier Giroud for their goals.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Milan are still pushing to sign Guirassy, despite Stuttgart insisting that the Guinean striker is happy in Germany for now.
According to Di Marzio Guirassy has been at the top of Milan’s wish list for months, having scored 17 goals in 14 Bundesliga matches, attracting the attention of various international clubs.
The Rossoneri are planning new contacts with Stuttgart by the end of the week, despite the striker heading to the Ivory Coast to take part in the African Cup of Nations in 2024.
Guirassy has a release clause of €17.5 million and the report suggests Milan are working to obtain an instalment payment (perhaps slightly increasing the amount for the German club).
