AC Milan’s CEO Giorgio Furlani has emphatically stated that star player Rafael Leao will not be departing the club. This declaration comes in response to recent speculation linking the Portuguese forward with a potential move to Barcelona.
In an interview with El Chiringuito TV, Furlani left no room for doubt regarding Leao’s future. When asked about the possibility of Leao playing for Barcelona this year, he responded, “There is no possibility. It’s impossible. He will not leave the club, 100%.”
The Milan executive further reinforced the club’s stance, adding, “Will Rafa ask for a transfer? He will not ask to leave the club. I think my message is clear enough.”
Despite reported interest from Barcelona, AC Milan remains resolute in their position. Leao is currently under contract with the Rossoneri until June 30, 2028, and the Italian giants have no intention of parting ways with their prized asset.
