Max Allegri’s squad is coming together in more ways than one, with the serial-winning Scudetto specialist taking charge of his first training session this week. Below, we take a glance at the full AC Milan pre-season fixture list, along with which players are expected to take part across a five-game slate.
Max Allegri Takes Charge of First AC Milan Training Since His Return
The second coming of Max Allegri has officially got underway this week, with the six-time Serie A winner taking charge of his first training session at the Milanello complex on Monday.
It signalled the beginning of an extended period of double sessions, as Allegri implements a typically gruelling preseason schedule to get his players up to full fitness, ahead of the Serie A’s curtain raiser in August.
After AC Milan’s lowest league finish in a decade, Allegri has wasted no time in instilling a no-nonsense, disciplined culture to get the Rossoneri back on track.
La Gazzetta dello Sport even claim Allegri has ‘Ten Commandments’ that his players must abide by.
- Forget last season and start from zero
- Rediscover AC Milan DNA, and the desire to win
- The team must be the first thought
- Double training sessions from day one
- Without Europe, hard work during the week
- No lateness, or you will be out of the squad
- No phones at meetings, meals or in the dressing room
- Watch your weight: having breakfast and lunch at Milanello is mandatory
- Be a tough team and concede the fewest goals
- Always make the simplest choice on the pitch
According to new betting sites, Allegri’s Milan are still someway behind last season’s top four in the race for the Scudetto this time around.
AC Milan Pre-Season Squad Confirmed
Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah — who is linked with a move to Napoli — are not part of Mauricio Pochettino’s current USA squad, so they reported to Milanello on Monday.
However, Mexico’s Santiago Gimenez remains one of the few absentees for Milan’s pre-season preparations, as he prepares to face USA at the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Theo Hernandez, Ismael Bennacer, Yacine Adli and Devis Vasquez have been granted extra holiday, although all with the knowledge that they will depart the club this summer.
New arrival from Torino, Samuele Ricci, takes to the field at Milanello for the first time, while Luka Modric’s imminent arrival after the World Cup is the only other expected new addition to the squad thus far.
Goalkeepers: Maignan; Sportiello, Torriani, Nava.
Defenders: Emerson Royal, A.Jimenez, Gabbia, Pavlovic, Thiaw, Tomori, Bartesaghi, Magni.
Midfielders: Fofana, Ricci, Musah, Bondo, Loftus-Cheek, Pobega, Vos, Comotto.
Forwards: Pulisic, Leao, Chukwueze, Saelemaekers, Okafor, Liberali, Colombo.
AC Milan Pre-Season Fixture List, Dates and Times

Milan’s 2025-26 Serie A campaign gets underway at the San Siro against Cremonese on August 23, so the Rossoneri have just under two weeks to prepare after their final pre-season match.
However, Milan’s first competitive game of the season is sandwiched in between these dates; a Coppa Italia meeting with Bari slated for August 17. Max Allegri will be banned from the touchline for his first competitive game, having been sanctioned for disciplinary reasons in his final game for Juventus last year.
