The latest Ademola Lookman transfer news has revealed that Inter are set to increase their offer for the Atalanta star.
Lookman is increasingly likely to leave the Gewiss Stadium this summer. The Nigeria international is widely regarded as one of Serie A’s finest players.
In 2023-24, Lookman netted a stunning hat-trick in the Europa League final to end Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten run under former Spain star Xabi Alonso.
The 3-0 victory earned Lookman legendary status in Bergamo. He has scored a total of 52 goals for La Dea across 117 appearances in all competitions and helped them qualify for UCL soccer twice.
His electric form has seen a long queue of admirers form for the 27-year-old’s signature. New head coach Ivan Juric will be desperate to keep Lookman in his roster but the Croatian will already be drawing up a shortlist of potential replacements.
🚨⚫️🔵 Ademola Lookman has only agreed personal terms with Inter, he wants the move and gives them total priority as long as the deal is on.
Club to club talks continue also via intermediaries after €40m bid… and €50m request from Atalanta.

Ademola Lookman Asking Price
Last week, FootItalia reported how much Atalanta wanted for Inter target Ademola Lookman. The €50million price tag was confirmed by La Dea as a way of putting off interested parties.
Ivan Juric’s side are willing to do business for €10m less to sides based outside of Italy. Therefore, they want to be fully compensated if they do sell him to a Serie A rival.
The valuation hasn’t deterred Cristian Chivu’s men. The Nerazzurri are keen to add attacking reinforcements to their roster and are expected to place a new bid.
Negotiations between the two clubs will continue over the next 48 hours. However, Juric will be holding firm for the €50m that he desires.
Ademola Lookman Transfer News
On Monday, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Ademola Lookman has only agreed on personal terms with Inter. Therefore, essentially ruling out the likes of Atletico Madrid or Napoli muscling in on the deal.
The transfer guru hasn’t given the deal the ‘here we go‘ treatment yet but that will surely follow once a fee is agreed between Atalanta and the Nerazzurri.
Cristian Chivu saw his initial bid of €40m turned down. It remains possible that a deal can be ironed out for an initial €45m with €5m to come in add-ons.
However, the Bergamo-based side could play hard ball and demand the full fee up front. That is something which will be determined by the two parties this week.

Who Did Atalanta Sign Ademola Lookman From?
After beginning his career in England with London-based side Charlton, Ademola Lookman earned a move to Premier League Everton.
Nonetheless, Lookman struggled on Merseyside and was shipped off to RB Lepizig on loan. He eventually signed for the German side on a permanent deal in 2019.
After failing to hit the ground running in the Bundesliga, Lookman enjoyed further loan spells at Leicester and Fulham. The Super Eagles star earned rave reviews at the Foxes but Lepizig decided to sell him directly to Atalanta.
That move happened in the summer of 2022 and as they say, the rest is history. Lookman flourished in Italy and scored 39 Serie A goals in 93 outings.
The 27-year-old has also landed a number of personal accolades at the Gewiss. He was twice named La Dea’s Player of the Season and was named in the Serie A Team of the Year for 2024-25.
His €15m move from Germany looks like very shrewd business. According to the best betting apps in 2025, Inter will be the clear favorites to win the Scudetto if Lookman was to sign on the dotted line.
