Adin Licina has officially joined Juventus from Bayern Munich ahead of the likes of AC Milan and Inter.
Juventus confirmed on their official website that Licina has signed for their Next Gen outfit on a contract until 2029.
Juve wanted Licina, but they were up against Milan, Inter, Sporting Lisbon and Real Sociedad in pursuit of the 19-year-old.
In the end, the Bianconeri have triumphed in the race for Licina, a player whose move is reportedly a Kenan Yildiz level coup.
Adin Licina: Why Bayern Munich have let him join Juventus
Adin Licina has long been considered one of the best players in the Bayern Munich youth setup.
German football expert Elmar Bergonzini previously wrote in Gazzetta dello Sport about Licina’s situation.
Licina had been struggling to break into the Bayern first team, despite his overwhelming talent.
This has resulted in him becoming disillusioned at the club, according to Bergonzini.
Licina has been “for years considered the purest talent in Bayern’s academy”.
However, he ended up behind Lennart Karl, Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise in Bayern’s pecking order.
Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany is “not even considering him”, Bergonzini added.

And with Licina’s Bayern contract expiring at the end of the season, the Germans have opted to let him go.
“Adin came to Bayern as a young talent,” began Christoph Freund, Bayern sporting director.
“He was developed at our Campus and is now setting out to find his way in top-level international football.
“We wish him all the best for the future.”
Licina is an attacking midfielder whose versatility means he can also feature as a winger.
Left-footed, he has made a big impression for his vision and dribbling ability.

Juventus signing Kenan Yildiz in 2022 proved one of the biggest coups by an Italian club in recent years.
Juve fought off competition from Barcelona to sign Yildiz on a free transfer after his Bayern contract expired.
Yildiz is now one of Serie A’s biggest assets and looks like he will have a huge future in the game.
Elmar Bergonzini recently said whoever signed Adin Licina would be striking a deal on par with the Yildiz move.
“It would be a coup similar to what Juve made years ago with Yildiz,” he said. “Reinvigorating a talent who has now become a star in Juventus.”
