Juventus winger Angel Di Maria could be out for up to 40 days having picked up yet another injury this season. The Argentine international has been in and out of the team this season, sitting out through suspension and injury, and has failed to put together a consistent run of form.
The latest injury came in Juve’s 2-0 defeat to Maccabi Haifa last night when Di Maria pulled up with what looked to be a pulled hamstring.
There’s been no official announcement from the club yet, but the suggestion from Gazzetta dello Sport and others is that he could miss at least 40 days of the season.
With the World Cup a month away, there’s even a suggestion that he may yet miss this years competition in Qatar.
