Italian news agency ANSA report that that the Italian financial police conducted a raid at the headquarters of AC Milan earlier on Tuesday. Additionally, the CEO of the club, Giorgio Furlani, is under investigation by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Milan in connection with the probe regarding the sale of AC Milan from Elliott Fund to Redbird, owned by Jerry Cardinale.

According to ANSA,  Furlani, the CEO of AC Milan, is under investigation by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Milan for “obstructing the supervisory activities of the FIGC.” The investigation pertains to the sale of AC Milan from the Elliott Fund to Cardinale’s Redbird in 2022.

As part of this investigation, the Guardia di Finanza not only raided the headquarters of AC Milan but also searched the CEO’s office and the offices of other key individuals involved in the club.
