According to the latest Ardon Jashari injury update, the Milan star is still some way off making his Rossoneri return.

Jashari joined the Serie A giants in a €36million deal from Club Brugge in the summer. The Switzerland international has only registered 40 minutes of action so far this season.

He made his debut in the 2-0 Coppa Italia first round victory against Bari in August. Jashari then made his league bow in the surprise MD1 defeat to Cremonese at the San Siro.

Ardon Jashari Injury Update Doesn’t Bode Well For Milan

In August, the Ardon Jashari injury update revealed that the Swiss star would be ruled out for the MD2 clash against Lecce. At the time, head coach Max Allegri didn’t reveal the true extent of his issue.

The main reasoning behind that is likely down to the fact Jashari hadn’t been given a full diagnosis. After an accidental collision with Santiago Gimenez in training, it was later confirmed that Jashari fractured his fibula.

The 23-year-old midfielder has recently returned from a stint of rehab in his native Switzerland. Jashari is now back in Milan as he continues his recovery.

When Will Ardon Jashari Play For Milan?

Although an exact date hasn’t been confirmed, Ardon Jashari isn’t expected to feature for Milan before November. That means he will miss key games against Napoli, Juventus, Atalanta and Roma.

Jashari will also miss October’s World Cup qualifiers against Sweden and Slovenia. However, the 23-year-old could potentially play in Switzerland’s games against Sweden and Kosovo a month later.

At the time of writing, Jashari has already had four weeks on the sidelines. His rehabilitation is understood to be going well but the Rossoneri won’t rush him back into action before he is ready.

What Other Milan Players Are Currently Injured?

With Ardon Jashari approximately 6-8 weeks away from a first team return, star forward Rafael Leao is the only other Milan player currently missing.

Leao suffered a calf strain shortly after scoring against Bari in the Coppa Italia first round clash last month. Although the Rossoneri suffered a surprise 2-1 home defeat to Cremonese in the Serie A opener, Leao’s absence hasn’t affected recent results.

In fact, head coach Max Allegri has won his last four games in all competitions. His latest victory came against Lecce in the Coppa Italia on September 23.

From Leao’s perspective, he will potentially be available for selection on MD5. Allegri’s side take on Napoli at the San Siro on September 28.
