Juventus striker Arek Milik is set to miss the EURO’s after picking up an injury in Poland’s 3-1 friendly win over Ukraine. The 30-year-old former Napoli forward pulled up after a challenge and was immediately substitued off.
Immediately after the match, Polish national team, Michal Probierz, confirmed the striker’s absence for the competition, which kicks off next week:
“Arkadiusz Milik will not be going to the Euros, and I have three other players at risk of missing out. We need to make arrangements with the medical staff.”
It’s the latest in a long series of injuries that have hampered Milik’s career, despite having gone through the recent 2023-24 season with Juventus relatively unscathed.
