According to reports from Italy, Atalanta are making moves to bring Rodrigo Becao back to Serie A. The Italian club has shown interest in the Brazilian defender currently playing for Fenerbahce, confirming reports from Turkey about a loan offer with an option to buy.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports how the Bergamo-based team is looking to reinforce their defensive line under manager Gian Piero Gasperini. After submitting an offer to Fenerbahce, Atalanta have recently been in contact with Becao’s agents to discuss the feasibility of the transfer, particularly regarding the player’s salary.

For the 27-year-old Becao, this would mark a return to Italian football after his stint with Udinese from 2019 to 2023. In his most recent season in Turkey, Becao made 22 appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal.

The club’s interest in Becao, known for his defensive prowess and experience in Italian football, could provide a significant boost to their backline.
