Bayern Munich directors will be in Turin today to meet with their Juventus counterparts in an effort to agree terms for Matthijs De Ligt. The Dutchman is expected to leave the Old Lady this summer with Bayern and Chelsea vying for his signature.
Reports from Germany have suggested that De Ligt has already agreed personal terms with the Bundesliga champions and they are his first choice.
Sky Sport Germany, Sky Sport Italia, BILD and a number of other outlets report that Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic will be in Turin today for negotiations with Juve director Federico Cherubini.
According to BILD journalist Christian Falk, De Ligt has told Juve that he wants to join Bayern, and has asked them to find a solution.
Falk also reports that Juve want to spent the transfer fee for De Ligt on Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly as they will save a significant amount from De Ligt’s salary.
Bayern’s offer is reportedly in the region of €75-80m and could include various performance related bonuses.
