Francesco Camarda has committed his future to Milan by signing his first professional contract, turning down offers from both Manchester City and Manchester United to remain with the Rossoneri.
The Milanese club announced on Saturday morning that the 16-year-old Italian has agreed to a three-year deal, marking a significant step in his career. Camarda will join the newly formed Under-23 ‘Futuro’ squad for the 2024-25 campaign.
Camarda emerged as one of the standout young talents in Europe last season, impressing with his performances against older players. In his debut season with the Under-19 Primavera squad, he scored 13 goals and provided five assists in 41 matches.
According to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport, Camarda’s new contract will see him earn around €450,000 net per season, with additional bonuses linked to Serie A and the Champions League, highlighting his potential and determination to break into the first team. The young striker turned down more lucrative offers from clubs like Manchester City, Manchester United, and Borussia Dortmund, choosing instead to continue his development with Milan.
