French newspaper L’Equipe report that Chelsea have initiated contacts with Milan for goalkeeper Mike Maignan. The 27-year-old has been linked with a host of European clubs following his excellent displays for the Rossoneri this season, but it seems Chelsea are moving quickest.
L’Equipe report that the Blues are seriously interested in signing the shot-stopper, but the Rossoneri do not consider the player for sale.
Maignan was expected to sign a contract renewal earlier this year, but Paolo Maldini’s sacking has provoked shocked reactions from a number of the Milan squad, including the Frenchman who posted a series of cyptic posts on his Instagram account.
