Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini is edging towards a move to Los Angeles FC according to reports from Italy. The 37-year-old is set to leave Turin next month when his Juve contract ends and is aiming for a move to MLS.
Reports from a number of Italian news outlets suggest that Chiellini’s next destination will be LAFC, despite previous reports suggesting he also favoured a move to Miami FC.
Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that LAFC have confirmed their offer to the Serie A veteran and are waiting on the green light from Chiellini
Sportitalia and Gazzetta dello Sport transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà reports on similar lines, suggesting that only one genuine proposal has arrived at Chiellini’s door from Major League Soccer and it is Los Angeles FC.
