Tuttosport report that winger Federico Chiesa rejected a lucrative offer from a series of Saudi Arabian clubs recently in order to prove himself at Juventus. The Azzurri international suffered a cruciate ligament rupture that kept him out of action for a large part of 2022, and then struggled for form when returning to Juve’s starting XI earlier this year.
Recent reports have linked both Chiesa and teammate Dusan Vlahovic with potential transfers, with Juve possibly looking to cash in on them to fund their summer transfer window.
Tuttosport now report that the 25-year-old was approached by the four PIF-backed Saudi clubs: Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr – last month, offering him close to €20m net per season for a three-year contract.
According to the report, Chiesa rejected the offers out of hand through his agent Fali Ramadani as he is keen to remain in Turin and prove himself to Juventus.
