Recent statements attributed to Hüseyin Yücel, the vice president of Besiktas, suggested possible negotiations regarding Federico Chiesa’s transfer to the Turkish club. Yücel reportedly mentioned, “It is true that we have been interested in him for about 10 days. In the spirit of transparent communication, I would like to clarify that the player’s salary is €9 million and his club expects a transfer fee of 15 million euros. Currently, 7 clubs are involved. We made our offer, but the expectations are not very rational and it does not seem possible to meet them. Therefore, as of today, Chiesa is not on Besiktas’ agenda.”
However, Fali Ramadani, Chiesa’s agent, has clarified the situation. Speaking from Bergamo, where he is finalizing another deal, Ramadani stated, “I do not know the person in question, and I have never negotiated with Besiktas for Federico Chiesa.”
