USMNT And Milan Star Christian Pulisic Sets New Scoring Record After Udinese Brace

Christian Pulisic has set a new European scoring record after his brilliant brace for Milan against Udinese on September 20. 

Pulisic has enjoyed a fantastic start to the 2025-26 campaign. The USMNT star has already netted four times and provided an assist in five games across all competitions.

‘Captain America‘ is picking up where he left on from after his scoring antics from last season. His 17 strikes is the most he has recorded in a single campaign throughout his pro soccer career.

On Saturday, Milan made it three wins on the bounce after seeing off Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium. Christian Pulisic was the undeniable MVP after his two goals helped the Rossoneri to a 3-0 victory.

He also chipped in with an assist to bring his goal contributions to five from five appearances for the season. Pulisic swept home the opener from close range against the Bianconeri with 39 minutes on the clock.

His second came early in the second period when he lashed home a powerful right-foot effort. Pulisic was eventually subbed just after the hour mark with the Coppa Italia 2nd round clash against Lecce in mind on September 23.

With a new Christian Pulisic Milan contract reportedly on the table, the Rossoneri will be desperate to tie their star player down for the long-term.

Especially after Pulisic became the highest scoring USMNT in European soccer after his Udinese brace. Before the game, ‘Captain America‘ was level with Clint Dempsey on 57 goals.

His two strikes means he is now clear of the legendary American and just one away from 60 goals across Europe’s top five leagues. A feat that will surely be his for years to come.

Unsurprisingly, the majority of the US star’s goals have come in Serie A. The 27-year-old has 26 goals in Italy’s elite with a further 20 coming in the English Premier League when he represented Chelsea.

His remaining 13 strikes came from his time with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.

In the 2023-24 season, Pulisic netted 15 times in 50 appearances. Last season, the US star hit 17 goals in the same number of outings.

With four goals already to his name in 2025-26, it appears that the forward is very much on track to surpass last season’s total. With the 2026 FIFA World Cup just 10 months away, America will be pinning all their hopes on the superstar.
