“Regarding the Dutch insults of anti-Semitism and racism against Lazio fans that prevented them from attending the match against Ajax in the Europa League, there is a process underway,” Lotito stated. He firmly dismissed the accusations, asserting, “What was contested against us is out of place. How can Lazio be accused of being fascist or anti-Semitic? It is against reality. And to say that I am a president of a mafia style makes me smile.”
Reflecting on Lazio’s current situation, Lotito expressed confidence in his choices. “When I chose Marco Baroni, I was convinced, not certainly to relegate Lazio. They protested against me, but the facts are proving me right,” he remarked.
