Newly promoted Serie A side Como have  secured an agreement with Copenhagen for the transfer of defender Kevin Diks. The 27-year-old Dutch player will join Como in a deal valued at €5 million. The completion of this transfer hinges on Copenhagen’s successful acquisition of Gabriel Pereira from Gil Vicente as Diks’ replacement.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, both clubs have already reached an agreement with Diks, and the transfer is expected to be completed once Copenhagen finalize their new signing. This move marks another significant addition to Como’s squad as they continue to strengthen their defensive lineup.

Diks began his career in the youth system of Feyenoord before moving to the senior team, where he made his debut in 2014. Diks has since played for several clubs, including a notable stint at Vitesse, where he gained recognition for his performances.

In 2021, Diks joined FC Copenhagen, competing in the Danish Superliga and European tournaments.
