“Yes, we tried,” Suwarso admitted, “but we are aware that we are a small club, so some people don’t take us seriously yet. Certain big names, when they hear about Como, say, ‘No, I want to play in the Champions League.’ That makes sense—we know very well what we can and cannot do. But we dream big.”
The Indonesian president’s candid remarks shed light on Como’s aspirations to elevate their status in Italian football. Despite acknowledging the challenges faced by a smaller club, Suwarso emphasized their commitment to growth and improvement.
