Antonio Conte explained his reasons for choosing to take over as Napoli head coach this summer: “When people mention Naples, many things come to mind: first and foremost, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.” Conte was confirmed as the new Partenopei coach earlier this week and spoke to the clubs official channels about his new role:

Conte has signed a three-year contract with Napoli, set to expire in June 2027, with a base salary of €6-6.5 million per season, plus bonuses. He has insisted on bringing his trusted staff with him. Joining him in Naples will be assistant coach Cristian Stellini, fitness coach Costantino Coratti, new collaborator Elvis Abbruscato, coordinator Gabriele Oriali, and his brother Gianluca Conte as match analyst.
