Corriere Torino (via VecchiaSignora) now report that Danilo’s contract is set to be renewed by another three seasons, taking him to 30 June 2026. By that point, he is expected to have inherited the captains armband, following his brilliant leadership during Juve’s recent run of form. The suggestion is that the new contract may be the last one he signs, taking him through to retirement with the Bianconeri.
Danilo has been one of Juve’s most reliable players this season, playing the most minutes of the entire squad (1452) while forming a key-partnership with compatriot Bremer that’s helped the Bianconeri win eight games in a row and climb to second in the Serie A standings.
