What Is Darwin Nunez’s Asking Price As Juventus Ramp Up Interest?

The Darwin Nunez price tag has been identified by Liverpool with Juventus currently leading the race for his signature. 

Nunez is expected to leave Anfield this summer after struggling on Merseyside. The Uruguayan international was hotly tipped to move to Napoli but the Scudetto winners opted for Lorenzo Lucca instead.

As it stands, the 26-year-old is still edging towards a Serie A move. However, the Old Lady are already locked in talks with the English Premier League champions but the valuation of the star is slowing progress.

Liverpool wanted to recoup most of the €85million outlay they spent on Juventus target Darwin Nunez in the 2022 summer transfer window. Nonetheless, the Reds are willing to take a loss on the Uruguayan.

Arne Slot’s side had previously priced Napoli out of the race for the 26-year-old. Now, the Dutchman is willing to let Nunez leave Anfield for approximately €60m.

Although Juve is still bulking at the valuation, Igor Tudor’s men believe a deal can be manufactured. The Croatian is also leaning towards a loan deal to include an obligation to buy as an alternative.

Whether Juventus opt for a permanent deal or not depends on the outcome of Dusan Vlahovic’s future. The Serbian striker looks set to leave the Allianz Arena for financial reasons.

Not only is he Serie A’s highest earner, the 25-year-old has one year left on his current deal which Juve won’t be extending. Hence the need to cash in now.

Vlahovic’s vast earnings have proven the main snag for potential suitors so far. It’s reported that he would cost approximately €30m but his wage demands must be lowered to allow a smooth exit. If that happened, signing Darwin Nunez becomes a more viable option.

Although he has struggled during his three years at Liverpool, Darwin Nunez has looked a different animal during the 2025 pre-season period.

He netted against Preston and notched a hat-trick against Stoke but ultimately, his goal record hasn’t been the best considering the money that was spent on him from Benfica.

A switch to Juventus would increase the Bianconeri’s title chances with Serie A betting sites. However, it remains to be seen whether a deal can be struck before the window closes.
