Inter have confirmed that midfielder Davide Frattesi has suffered an injury setback which will keep him out of their match against Roma. The Nerazzurri released a statement on the club’s official website, confirming that:
This morning, Davide Frattesi underwent medical tests at the Istituto Clinico Humanitas in Rozzano.
They revealed that the Nerazzurri midfielder has suffered a myotendinous strain in the rectus femoris muscle of his right thigh.
His condition will be re-evaluated in the coming days.
The injury almost certainly rules out Frattesi for the trip to Rome this weekend, when Inter will be facing Daniele De Rossi’s Roma side.
