Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis confirms his previous stance that striker Victor Osimhen is not for sale as the Partenopei don’t have to sell their stars. The Nigerian striker is leading Serie A for goals this season and has been the leagues most clinical forward in the league, forming a deadly partnership with winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Speaking to German newspaper BILD, De Laurentiis reiterated that his star striker is not on the market this summer and touched on the upcoming Champions League fixtures:

“Victor is not up for sale, our players are in high demand, but we are forced to sell nobody, we don’t have debts.

“The Champions League? In the beginning, the feeling was of a non-difficult draw, but it’s not exactly like this.

“It’s not a coincidence that they are in the race for the Bundesliga title. We should not think that we are a better team. Barcelona did it last season and we should not make the same mistake.”
