De Rossi: “Great Support from the Friedkins. Tiago Pinto Has Been Fantastic”

Daniele De Rossi secured his third consecutive win as Roma coach and praised the club’s management for their support.  A Paudlo Dybala brace and goals from Lorenzo Pellegrini, and Dean Huijsen secured the three points for the Giallorossi against Cagliari. De Rossi analyzed the match in the post-game interview with Dazn:

“I liked the game. I saw on the field things we had highlighted during the week. When you unlock it so early, everything seems easier, but in the last two games, we still suffered. We managed the advantage moment as well.”

“Tiago Pinto has been fantastic with me. Even now that he’s no longer here, I still feel support from the Friedkin family. They had promised me, but it wasn’t obvious for a young coach. We discuss, I feel comfortable here. What has been seen as good so far, I haven’t done it alone, but also thanks to them.”

“Inter? Sooner or later, it had to come. It will be a moment of awareness. It’s right to emphasize the victories, but we have done little more than nothing. The Nerazzurri are the strongest team in the championship, and not saying they play the best would do Inzaghi an injustice. We must be our best version.”
