He doesn’t see eye-to-eye with the Rossoneri midfielder, but he gets where he’s coming from. Milan is definitely the team to beat, along with Inter.

The others have had their share of setbacks too, and Milan isn’t playing in any cup competitions right now.

It’s in a good spot, especially since Inter will have more commitments. So what Rabiot says is only half true; Milan is definitely the number one contender.

Del Piero praises McKennie and Juventus core

When it comes to sharing thoughts on Juventus players, Alex Del Piero highlights the quality of Weston McKennie.

He’s played in several positions, showing his versatility, which Spalletti definitely values.

He’s already scored a bunch of goals and made a lot of assists in the past, and the fact that he’s keeping it up is great for Juventus.

It’s no surprise that Luciano Spalletti gets the best reviews. Spalletti’s impact didn’t surprise the former Bianconeri captain.

“I have to say, everyone has been great. Him especially, for making such a clear change, even with a few setbacks along the way. Today, Juve showed a certain attitude and a very clear idea of how they want to approach games, and everything seems to be going in the right direction. We’re obviously keeping our fingers crossed for them, but despite the difficulties, they’ve turned out great.”

Spalletti impact earns full approval

This year is the 30th anniversary of Juventus’ last Champions League victory against Ajax, which they won on penalties.

Michele Padovano also scored in that game. The Bianconeri legend also talked about this by saying that Juventus should take things one step at a time in the Champions League. With a new coach and all, this isn’t the year to be thinking about the final.

Juve should take it one game at a time and play it out. Del Piero thinks Spalletti and the team are trying to create an identity that allows them to play against anyone, and that means aiming to win every game regardless of who you’re up against.
