Angel Di Maria was likened to being Juve’s version of Pulp Fiction character Winston Wolf but admitted he’s never seen the film. The Argentine was once again decisive for the Old Lady, coming off the bench to score the second goal in Juve’s 2-0 win over La Spezia, and speaking with DAZN, he explained why he thinks the team struggles at times and what he expects against Nantes in the second-leg of their Europa League match:

“I’m Juve’s Winston Wold? I’ve never seen Pulp Fiction, but when I play I try to help the team. I’m happy to have scored, it came from the assist to Chiesa and I wanted a goal, I managed to do it and so we managed to close out the game.

“Why doe Juve struggle to manage games? I think sometimes we are a bit tired, we are playing so many games and in Italian football it is difficult, so many rely on the counter attack. We are trying to raise our heads and always improve, it’s an important thing.

“Nantes? My hopes are with those of all our team, of all Turin. We want to qualify, we deserved a better result in the first leg and now we will try to do our best to pass the round.”
