Inter defender Stefan de Vrij has reached an agreement with the club on a new two-year contract, with an announcement due soon. The 31-year-old has an existing deal with the club that’s set to end on June 30, but has been in ongoing talks with the Nerazzurri over a contract extension.
Sky Sport Italia and Fabrizio Romano now confirm that the Dutch international is set to renew with Inter until 2025, with an official announcement from club expected very soon.
De Vrij had been linked with a move to the Premier League in the last 12 months, with Tottenham Hotspur reportedly keen to sign him.
The centre-back has been with Inter since 2018, making 203 appearances and scoring nine goals for the club over five seasons in Milan.
