Wantaway Juventus Forward Is Attracting Interest From LaLiga Giants

Start

The latest Dusan Vlahovic transfer news has indicated that Atletico Madrid are interested in the Juventus star.

Atleti are exploring many options to add to their attack ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. They already have the likes of Julian Alvarez, Antoine Griezmann, Alexander Sorloth and Angel Correa to call upon.

However, Griezmann has been linked with a move to MLS and Alvarez has been touted as a possible target for English Premier League champions Liverpool.

Head coach Diego Simeone doesn’t want to take any chances and sees Vlahovic as a suitable forward who can improve the side. This season Atleti will be aiming to finish third in the standings.

Champions League soccer for 2025-26 has already been secured. With that in mind, tempting Vlahovic should be straight forward enough and he’ll will likely be Simeone’s main priority as they seek LaLiga glory next season.

Dusan Vlahovic Transfer News

Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic is being tracked by Arsenal as well as Atletico Madrid. Other suitors will also emerge in the coming weeks as the summer transfer window opens.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Vlahovic is firmly on Atleti’s radar. Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce were also plotting a cut price deal for the Serbian international.

Interest remains high in the 25-year-old owing to his reported refusal to pen a new deal. Vlahovic’s current contract runs out in 2026 so the Old Lady would rather sell him this year as oppose to potentially losing him on a free.

A fee in the region of €49m ($55.6m) would likely see Juve enter into negotiations. One major stumbling block for the likes of Atleti and Arsenal is Vlahovic’s huge salary.

He is by far the Bianconeri’s highest earner – pocketing €373,856 per week ($426,227). That equates to a mammoth annual salary of €19,440,000 ($22,163,799).

That will determine which clubs are serious about signing Vlahovic as he certainly isn’t a cheap option. However, there is still a chance he could be staying in Turin.

We have a very good rapport with the player and his agent,” said Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli.

We will sit down at the end of the season to discuss and evaluate whether to continue together or to take separate paths.”
