Roma forward Paulo Dybala is expected to be out of action for at least one month after picking up a knee injury in last night’s match against Cagliari. La Joya went down after a challenge and was seen to be in tears, clutching his knee, shortly before he was taken off the pitch.

Sky Sport Italia and Il Tempo report that tests have ruled out a serious knee injury, showing no damage to the meniscus or cruciate ligaments, meaning it is likely to be a knee sprain.

The Argentine will skip the next international break in an effort to recover, and will be monitored day-by-day by the Giallorossi medical staff.
