Roma forward Paulo Dybala has rejected speculation that he would be leaving the club this summer, saying he is staying with the Giallorossi. The 29-year-old has been the subject of transfer speculation linking him with Chelsea, with reports suggesting the Premier League side are prepared to pay his release clause.

The Argentine international can reportedly leave Roma if a non-Italian club is prepared to pay the €12 million release that was included in his contract, but they would still need to agree terms with La Joya.

Reports at the weekend speculated that Dybala could be interested in making move to the Premier League to join the Blues, but the player has suggested otherwise.

Dybala was pictured returning to Rome yesterday, and when asked about the links with Chelsea he responded: “I’m happy to be at Roma. Am I staying? Yes, we’re starting training tomorrow (Monday, ed.).”
