Milan Will Turn To Eberechi Eze If Christian Pulisic Quits The San Siro

Start

The latest Eberechi Eze transfer news has revealed that Milan will move for the Crystal Palace star if Christian Pulisic quits this summer.

Pulisic is currently enjoying a well-earned summer break after a grueling 2024-25 campaign. ‘Captain America‘ was able to withdraw from the USMNT’s Gold Cup roster to ensure he’s primed for the new season as well as the 2026 World Cup.

For the Rossoneri last year, Pulisic shined and enjoyed his best season in front of goal. The 26-year-old scored 17 times in all competitions across 50 appearances. However, doubts have arisen regarding his future so Max Allegri’s side have shortlisted Eze as a potential replacement.

Eberechi Eze Transfer News

It’s no secret that Eberechi Eze is one of the most in demand players in European soccer. The silky and skillful attacking midfielder enjoyed a hugely successful 2024-25 campaign. Especially in the second half of the season.

Much of the interest in Eze comes from English Premier League clubs. Tottenham are the frontrunners with the safest online betting sites.

The Europa League winners are looking to add players to their roster after a hugely disappointing Premier League campaign. Aston Villa, Man United and Newcastle are also interested in Eze.

However, FootItalia sources have confirmed that Milan are keeping tabs on the England and Crystal Palace star. The Rossoneri would only throw their hat into the mix if Pulisic leaves the San Siro.

How Much Is Eberechi Eze’s Release Clause?

Eberechi Eze’s release clause is active once again to the tune of £68million (€79.6m). Tottenham are trying to negotiate a cash plus player swap offer.

It’s unknown whether Crystal Palace would accept such a proposal but Milan would meet the clause in full. Although they can’t offer European soccer next season, they’ll have the funds to bring in a number of new faces to help restore the glory days at the San Siro.

Dutchman Tijjani Reijnders has already joined Man City for €55m. Defender Theo Hernandez also looks like he’ll be leaving this summer and the long term future of Rafael Leao is also in doubt.

Is Eberechi Eze Leaving Crystal Palace?

Surprisingly, Eberechi Eze’s release clause was active last season but wasn’t taken advantage of. Now, it looks like Eze will definitely be leaving Crystal Palace as he has a line of keen suitors.

Tottenham lead the way with Aston Villa, Man United and Newcastle all keen. Man City have been mooted as well but Pep Guardiola’s side has already made a number of signings in midfield.

Milan is a very interesting option for the 2025 FA Cup winner. Eze’s style of player would really suit Serie A and he could become an instant fans favorite as the Rossoneri challenge for a top four spot in 2025-26.

Will Christian Pulisic Quit Milan?

That is the big question. Christian Pulisic is widely regarded as Milan’s best player but the delay in signing a contract extension has raised doubts that he’ll stay at the San Siro.

As it stands, Pulisic hasn’t indicated he is ready to leave but if the right offer comes in, it’ll have to be considered. Especially if the USMNT star doesn’t pen new terms.

That is why Max Allegri has shortlisted Eze just in case Pulisic does decide his future lies elsewhere. If that was to be the case, pulling off the signing of Eze would be nothing short of sensational.
