Roma return to UEFA Europa League action as they face Elfsborg in the second matchday of the group stage. The Italian side are seeking their first three points in the competition after a disappointing 1-1 draw against Athletic Bilbao in their opening match at the Stadio Olimpico. However, the Giallorossi have shown signs of improvement in Serie A, securing two victories in their first two outings under new manager Ivan Juric.
On the other hand, Elfsborg are still pointless after losing their first match away to AZ Alkmaar. The Swedish side will be eager to get their campaign back on track with a positive result at home.
Juric is expected to make several changes to the lineup that faced Venezia in their recent Serie A fixture, opting for a 3-4-2-1 formation.
