The draw, which took place in Nyon on Friday afternoon, didn’t deliver favourable outcomes for Serie A sides. Milan and Roma, two Italian powerhouses, were drawn together, while Atalanta, another Italian representative, was matched up against Liverpool.
Milan will host the first leg of their clash against Roma on April 11, while Atalanta will travel to Anfield for their first encounter against Liverpool.
The decisive matches for all teams will take place on April 18.
In addition to revealing the quarter-final matchups, today’s draw also outlined the potential pathway for the semi-finals. The winner of the Milan-Roma clash will face either Bayer Leverkusen or West Ham United, with the first leg being hosted by the Italian side.
