Ivan Juric’s Roma is set to make their Europa League debut against Athletic Bilbao at the Stadio Olimpico, following their recent victory over Udinese in Serie A.  Juric is expected to stick with the 3-4-2-1 formation that proved successful against Udinese. Mile Svilar is likely to start in goal, with a back three consisting of Gianluca Mancini, Evan Ndicka, and Mario Hermoso, the latter potentially earning a starting spot.

On the flanks, Zeki Celik and Angelino are favored to start. In midfield, Bryan Cristante is expected to partner with young Niccolò Pisilli, with Cristante having the edge over Mady Koné.

The attacking midfield duo is likely to feature Tommaso Baldanzi and Paulo Dybala, supporting lone striker Artem Dovbyk.
