Fiorentina are closing in on the signing of Belgian midfielder Aster Vranckx, having reached an agreement with the player. The 21-year-old spent last season on loan with Milan, but featured just 10 times in total throughout the season, with the Rossoneri opting not to make his move permanent.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Viola and the player have already reached an agreement, and now they need to find an understanding with Wolfsburg. The German club are asking for €10 million to let Vranckx leave, with the possibility of closing the deal at €7-8 million plus bonuses. The Belgian’s contract expires in 2025.
A meeting between Fiorentina and Wolfsburg is scheduled in the coming hours to try and reach an agreement. The Viola had unsuccessfully tried to acquire Vranckx in previous transfer windows, and are now making another attempt, hoping to finally secure the deal.
