Genoa director Ottolini: ‘We’ve been talking about a contract renewal with Gilardino’

Genoa sporting director Marco Ottolini confirmed that the club are in talks with coach Alberto Gilardino about renewing his contract. I Grifone take on Juventus in the early Serie A kick off on Sunday, and speaking with Sky Sport Italia, Ottolini addressed the immediate future of Gilardino and also revealed that Koni De Winter will make a permanent switch to the club when the season ends@

“With the coach, we’ve been discussing the matter for a few weeks now, but these things take time, concentration, and special focus. We are still focused on the remaining matches of the season.”

“De Winter? Barring unforeseen circumstances, he will be a Genoa player, we have the obligation of redemption that will come into effect under certain conditions, which are quite close.
