Ibrahimovic: “We need the same focus as at the Bernabéu”

As AC Milan prepares for their crucial Champions League match against Slovan Bratislava, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the club’s Senior Advisor, shared his thoughts with Sky Sport. The Rossoneri are looking to secure a string of victories to guarantee their place in the playoffs.

Ibrahimovic emphasized the importance of maintaining focus: “The team must find the same concentration as at the Bernabéu because every match is important. If you want to reach the top, all games must be played the same way. We’ve made mistakes in some matches, but the team knows they need to find motivation.”

Comparing today’s match to their recent Serie A encounter, he noted: “Today is a completely different game. Saturday was a very closed match, against an opponent that prevented us from playing and creating scoring opportunities. Today we hope we can do even more and find a result. We are confident and working every day, everyone is working and has the same goals. There’s no secret, we must work.”

Addressing potential transfer market activity, Ibrahimovic stated: “Market? In my opinion, if we talk about defense, the whole team must do it. It’s true that we haven’t given 100% in defense, but in the January market, we’ll get Bennacer back, an important player who will be a great help. After this game, there are still many to play. If we need something from the market, we’ll decide with the coach.”
