Inter are close to completing contract extensions for both Mattia Darmian and Hakan Calhanoglu with announcements expected soon. The pair have played a vital role in the Nerazzurri squad this season and this was on show recently as Inter lifted the Supercoppa Italiana over city rivals Milan lastw week.
Transfer journalist Nicolo Schira reports that it’s almost a done deal for 33-year-old Darmian who is expected to pen a one-year extension, taking him to 2024 with the club.
The deal is expected to include the option of an additional one-year renewal, which could potentially take him to 2025 with the Nerazzuri.
For Calahanoglu, it’s expected to be a renewal until 2026 with a salary of €5m a season, plus various performance related bonuses.
