Inter have that midfielder Davide Frattesi has suffered a slight muscle strain following the latest medical tests. The 24-year-old Italy international featured in the Nerazzuri’s midweek 2-1 defeat to Sassuolo and complete the game.
A statement from the club confirmed the news, saying:
“Davide Frattesi underwent clinical and instrumental tests today at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano following a muscle strain.
“The tests highlighted a slight strain on the flexors of the right thigh. The midfielder’s condition will be re-evaluated in the next few days.”
The midfielder is expected to miss at least two matches, meaning he will skip the matches against Salernitana, Benfica and possibly Bologna.
